Yes. Any school in Africa can sign up, and records, attendance, homework, CBT exams and the gradebook work the same everywhere. Palmgrade started in Nigeria, though, and some things still assume a Nigerian school. Here is where it stands today. The app is in English only; French is the first language we are adding. Online fee payment is for schools in Nigeria only: elsewhere, parents pay the school as they do now, and the school records the payment in Palmgrade. Subscriptions are charged in Naira by international debit or credit card, or contact us to arrange another way to pay. Report cards follow the Nigerian layout, with scores out of 100. Our legal terms are written under Nigerian law. Support is in English. We update this answer as each of these is fixed.

Today, yes — that is our deliberate focus. Classes, subjects, sessions, terms, promotion and report sheets are all modelled the way African nursery, primary and secondary schools actually run, and we would rather serve those schools properly than be a generic tool that fits nobody. Other institution types (higher education, vocational academies, professional exam bodies) are on our roadmap.

As many as you need, on every plan — we never charge per seat. Each staff member signs in as themselves with their own role and permissions. Plan limits apply to active students, question-bank size and storage, never to the number of people on your team.

Yes — every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, with that plan’s full features and limits. No debit card is required to begin, and you only pay if you choose to continue.

No installation required. Palmgrade works in your browser. You can also install it as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your phone or computer for offline access.
